Welcome to the MEOW App (Monitoring Emotion & Other Wellbeing), a survey application designed to help users monitor their mental wellbeing. Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy outlines how your privacy is protected.

Data Collection and Use

• Local Data Storage: All data entered into the MEOW App is stored locally on your device. There is NO connection to any external server.

• Personal Information: You are able to enter personal details to store with your monitoring data if you wish.  This is completely optional. You can make responses for the mood monitoring without entering any personal information. Any personal information entered is stored only on your local device and is not shared with any third parties unless you choose to do so (via email data functionality).

Data Sharing

• Email Data Functionality: The MEOW App includes a feature that allows you to email your data to someone. This is entirely optional and under your control. The MEOW app developer does not have access to your data, or email content, or recipient information.

Data Security

• Local Storage: Your data is stored securely on your local device. However, the security of your device and your data depends on you. Please use secure passwords and keep your device protected.

• No External Sharing: As all data is stored locally and not sent to any server, there is no risk of data breaches from our side.

Third-Party Services

• Permissions: The app may request permissions to access storage and email functionalities on your device. These permissions are necessary for the app to function correctly and are not used for any other purpose.

• Email Service: The app uses your device’s email service to send data if you choose to do so. The app developer has no access to your email account or the data being sent.

• Control Over Data: You have full control over your data. You can view and delete your data at any time within the app.

• No Sign-Ups Required: The MEOW App does not require you to create an account or sign up. Your data remains anonymous and private.
